Liberation Larder – Nourishing Our Community.
Food insecurity and food waste remain big challenges in our region. Liberation Larder has been tackling both since its beginnings, growing into a volunteer powered force of more than 50 people sourcing, cooking, and distributing good food to those in need. From people living rough to families struggling with rising costs, they provide meals and support without judgment.
Volunteers from drivers, bakers, gardeners, fundraisers, and more, keep the service alive despite no guaranteed funding, relying on ingenuity and community partnerships.
With strong roots in local events and markets, Liberation Larder rescues food and redirects it where it’s needed most.
