What:    Nudge Nudge Wink Wink – A party with a conscience, DJs playing treasured sounds for community, from the team & event awarded Community Event of the Year 2020.

MAY the dance be with us and continue throughout the year! Nudge Nudge Wink Wink shimmers into its second event this year, taking us on interstellar journeys as we groove, move, sway and play across the cosmos with old & new friends all in the planet of community and partying with a conscience.  

May’s force-ful line up will have your feet accelerating into dance hyper-drive! Beloved and new Nudge and Curious DJ’s are bringing the power: our residents Dale Stephen & Lord Sut, are joined by locally based DJ LIPPO and pint sized DJ Queen Embelina!  

Launching our day, DJ Embelina the pint sized DJ Queen, will galactically deliver us to the planet of dance. Known for her range of deep hypnotic house with a cheeky hint of disco, booty-shaking party classics laced with funky hip-hop jams, smooth mid- tempo sounds or laid back lounge beats for when your feet need a rest, Embelina has a decade of experience as a professional DJ, arrive early for this lift-off into space experience.

Harnessing the energy of the cosmos, DJ LIPPO is guaranteed to provide star crossed moments. Playing all over the world, now based here in the Byron shire, he has united booty shakers for the last 20 years. Lippo’s sold-out sets feature his magical combinations of Soul, Jazz, Latin, Hip Hop, Disco, Deep House, Techno, Afro, and everything in between, resulting in experiences that connect your soul to your feet and your body to the beats. LIPPO will propel us farther into the universe providing new planetary experiences, bring your inter-planetary passports with you!

Cunning Stunts resident DJs Lord Sut & Dale Stephen, our shed-a-licious Captains bring it every month to the Starship Nudge!  Known to illuminate & invigorate you with their interstellar selections and universe shaking sets, they’ll take you on musical journeys that defy time and space! You’ll be filled with the force from start to finish!

Next NUDGING date is Sat June 5^th. We can’t wait to dance with you all!

Our Next Curious is on Friday May 21 featuring GROOVE TERMINATOR and SHE J on Live Percussion (Tijuana Cartel) at the Soundlounge, Currumbin.

In line with all conscious activities Cunning Stunts represent, a percentage of the cumulative profits from our Nudge Nudge Wink Wink and Curious events will be donated to local charities.  Cunning Stunts have donated $325,371 to 28 local charities through our Nudge Nudge Wink Wink and Curious events since December 2015, let’s keep that growing!

Nudge Nudge Wink Wink is a TICKETED monthly event running from September – June that brings the community together in an all-inclusive way, whilst raising much needed funding for beloved and deserving local charities that help improve the lives of Northern NSW residents. Food, entertainment, and an outside bar all contribute to this special monthly event.
