Two legendary Sydney based DJ’s join the Cunning Stunts residents to light up the Shed at January’s Nudge Nudge Wink Wink: The Ultimate Party with a Conscience!

2024 launches with January’s spectacular lineup including Sydney based guest DJs Nick Field and Annabelle Gaspar joining the sublime resident DJs, Lord Sut and Dale Stephen all ready to bring the heat to your feet and the shine to your soul!

International DJ Nick Field is back in the Shed!  Nick will be raising the vibes for his 7^th time in the shed.  Scintillating dance floor action will be had from this incredibly talented legend on the decks who has his own sound influenced by his loves of soulful, dubby, disco, electro and house. Nick’s unique take on the disco / balearic sound was a major hit during his impressive 6 year residency at Potato Head in Bali. Nick’s passion for different dance music has given him the opportunity to play music for nearly 30 years around the world, and we’re delighted to have him back for his annual time in the Shed. Nick Field is a DJ not to be missed.

Sydney based icon, DJ Annabelle Gaspar is joining Cunning Stunts line-up for the first time! Annabelle has been moving bodies and minds for the best part of 30 years. Annabelle is one of the finest and most respected DJs Australia has ever known. One of the founders and residents of the legendary Bad Dog parties. Annabelle has played Mardi Gras in Sydney to Mardi Gras in Rio de Janeiro. She has DJ’d alongside and collaborated with legendary DJ Frankie Knuckles. Most recently she blew the roof off Berghain / Panorama bar. Her artistry revolves around pushing creative boundaries through carefully curated track selections, guiding listeners on a transformative sonic odyssey. Annabelle’s recent performance at Berghain is a testament to her ability to set venues ablaze. Excitement is palpable, and anticipation runs high as we eagerly await an electrifying experience with Annabelle. We are all very excited. Two legendary Sydney Dj’s each playing 2-hour sets.

Resident DJs Lord Sut & Dale Stephen will kick off this first event of 2024!  From mellow balearic, through indie, disco and house with some of their own edits interspersed, getting the shed moving as cunningly as only our residents can. Arrive early and stay late for January’s hotbed of tasty sounds!

Nudge Nudge Wink Wink is more than a party; it’s a FUNdraiser providing essential connection, charitable support, and warming of spirit for all who attend. Once you’ve given it a nudge, you’ll have to return. Wink Wink!

For the January and February 2024 events, they are donating to the important funding needed for Pottsville Beach Neighbourhood Centre (PBNC) to continue to provide services and support with a focus on the needs of those in our Northern Rivers communities that are socially and economically disadvantaged.

Pottsville Beach Neighbourhood Centre has seen a significant shift in what people are requesting help with. Their Assisted Referral and Material Aid service increased by 150% in the last several years and they have given over $90,000 of material aid in the last year alone.  The primary reasons given for accessing the service have changed, from housing issues to financial stress that is subsequently affecting peoples physical and mental health. Whereas previously the focus was around sustainable accommodation, now it is about not having food to feed the kids. People living in cars do not have fuel to move around which helps keep them safe. Others can’t afford to drive to work or go to essential appointment’s such as employment provider meetings that are mandatory to attend if you are on a Centrelink payment. People are being cut off these minimal payments who are then left with absolutely nothing to live on. PBNC are seeing people who had never previously had to use their service who are having to decide to either buy fuel or eat.

You now have the option to donate in addition to purchasing an event ticket, which also helps provide further support to this vital service. Through doing this, you become an integral part of the movement that uplifts, supports, and empowers those who need it most.
