Moving to a ticketed event to ensure a better experience and ‘shape’ new ‘outcomes’, September’s Nudge Nudge Wink Wink is shaping up to be a sold-out season opener raising money for Byron Bay based Shaping Outcomes! Shaping Outcomes is a non-profit community organisation providing individualised & specialised early intervention programs that build on the strengths as well as increase abilities of children with disabilities or delays, their families and their communities to support lifelong learning, positive participation and promote family quality life.
September’s DJ’s ensure you’ll be frolicking from start to finish with the season launch line up including the Cunning Stunts Resident DJ’s Lord Sut and Dale Stephen, global-award recognised DJ and Music Producer Miles Cleret of Soundway Records, and returning for his second Nudge, Abel El’Toro!
Miles is a Northern Rivers based English DJ & music producer as well as the founder of Soundway Records, a world recognised independent label recently nominated for Best Label of 2016 at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards in London! For his Nudge afternoon debut come early, Miles will be playing a super rare all vinyl Boogie and Funk / Disco set from all around the world – taking Nudge to Africa and beyond.
Finishing off the evening, Abel El Toro, a beloved Australian DJ, icon of the Sydney club and party scene, former DJ of the Year and internationally recognized Promoter & Producer, not to mention founder of the infamous Happy Valley parties, will play his unique and diverse style of music taking us on a true dance journey as he is renowned for, a treat for all of us!
Raising over $54,000 thus far for local charities across 17 events, Cunning Stunts Nudge Nudge Wink Wink eclectic events continue to set the bar. The party with a conscience is now a TICKETED monthly event running from September – June that brings the community together in an all inclusive way, whilst raising much needed funding for beloved and deserving local charities that help improve the lives of Northern NSW residents. Food trucks, an outside bar and amazing raffle prizes all contribute to this special family friendly event the first Sunday of the month has become.
Fundraising at their events is raised through ticket sales, vendor and attendees’ donations, merchandise sales and the selling of raffle tickets. 100% of profits donated to local well deserving charities.
